What a great cleanup day at Ester Community Park! Thank you so much to all of the members of our community that came out today to help! Over 40 volunteers showed up, and we were able to not only complete every task I had on my list, but also several extras too! I couldn’t be happier! Our park is loved and it shows. I always say “it takes a village”, and today… everyone stepped up and did their part! Thanks again, with much appreciation…. the park czar.

The Spring Ester Community Association membership meeting will cover short committee updates, fundraising reports and most importantly will be an opportunity to lay out summer projects and event schedules, identify volunteers and prepare for Fourth of July, Ester Fest, Community Park clean-up and special projects. There will be snacks provided and it should be a great gathering. We hope to see you there!

The annual Spring Chili Feed is a day to play at the park, or on the hills and trails around Ester, and then join community members for chili, cornbread and dessert at the Golden Eagle. Enjoy live folk/original music while you eat!
Suggested donation $10 individual; $25 family.
Donations of chili, cornbread and desserts are most welcome!!

Its time for the Annual Meeting! Sunday Oct. 14, 4- 6 p.m. at the Hartung Hall.
The agenda will include fundraising, upcoming activities, committee updates and elections. Membership dues are due at the Annual Meeting. You must be a current member to vote.
The Ester Community Association invites you to the first annual Ester Fest!, a family-friendly day of music and food in the Ester Community Park, featuring Tim Easton, along with 8 fantastic local bands, on Sunday August 13, from noon until 10 p.m. The event is a fundraiser to help pay for the purchase and maintenance of the Ester Community Park. Tickets are $20, $15 for students, free for children under 12.
As of March 2017 our application to become a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization has been approved. Donations to the Ester Community Association may now be tax deductible.
Fundraising efforts for the Ester Community Park purchase will be gearing up over the coming months. Online donations can be made here and reoccurring monthly donations can be made here. We appreciate your support in operating, and soon owning, our community park, as well as our community hall and incredible neighborhood spirit.

Making monthly payments, covering insurance and paying taxes will require greater annual expenses then ever before. It will take all of us working together as a community to reach our goal. Thankfully, community is what Ester does best. Please help through donations, attendance at fundraising events, and by volunteering.

The Ester Community Association was founded in 1941 to enhance and simplify the lives of Ester-area residents, and to help them work together for common goals. It has been a forum for cooperation and debate within our community, served as a social organization and the mechanism through which projects are undertaken to enhance the community. It maintains a local meeting venue/community hall, and has built, maintained and improved the Ester Community Park. It is in the process of purchasing the park.
The ECA supports and often works in cooperation with other groups. While the ECA was incorporated in 1981, it remained a loose-knit social organization, taking on political and fiscal aspects of the community as necessary, for many decades. It was recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization March 2017.
